Accreditation

Concerned Care, Inc. has been awarded a three-year accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). This is the highest level of accreditation available for agencies of this type.

The surveyors noted that the leadership and staff members of Concerned Care are dedicated, committed and enthusiastic in providing care and assistance to the persons served. Teamwork and quality services are the consistent focus of the organization. Persons served, funding/referral sources and families speak highly of the organization’s services and mission. It is apparent that the persons served are treated with respect in a caring environment and that considerable effort is put into making the residential facilities "homelike".

The organization was commended for its training and commitment to hire individuals with disabilities. The executive director was highly complimented for the outcome measurement system and reports. In closing the report notes that Concerned Care enjoys a positive reputation throughout the community as well as with other service providers and funding sources.

Since 1992, Concerned Care has consistently recieved the highest-level CARF accreditation awarded.
